Anna Lathrop is a futures design researcher and facilitator based in Lenape territory (Brooklyn, NY). Her work is situated at the intersection of design research, social justice, and building capacity within situated imaginings. Recent projects include a year-long project with Negligence Refugees from Lebanon exploring the role of liberatory joy in worldbuilding and materializing Just futures. She is also a co-founder of Groundwater Arts, a citizen-artist collective building decolonized futures within the American theatre. She holds an MFA in the Transdisciplinary Design program at Parsons School of Design, an Impact Entrepreneurship Cohort Fellow, and a recipient of the John L. Tishman Scholarship.
